Guess what Mike did today? Yes, he has on a protective suit, a snowboarding helmet, leather gloves, and winter boots, and he has window screening duct taped over his face.
He's going in!
He's under the deck.
He made it out in one piece.
He even has time for a wave to let me know he's okay!
So, if you haven't guessed already, Mike killed a wasp nest under the deck today. We discovered it this weekend when we noticed a whole lot of wasps going in and out. Unfortunately (for us, it was fortunate for the wasps), it was located up between the floor joists of the deck, in a hard-to-reach area. Mike had to suit up because he wasn't going to be able to run if they started to attack. Bella and I watched from inside the house.

What do they say about an ounce of prevention? despite looking a bit sci-fi, i would say he's gear was quite ingenious. Glad nobody was hurt and now you are wasp free.
